Competition format

The event will feature 05 disciplines, namely Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Muaythai, Wrestling and Wushu.

Venues

The International Convention Center of Brazil – CICB will be used as the main venue for the Brasília 2026 FISU World University Championship Combat Sports.

Inaugurated in 2013 and located near Brasília’s touristic area, shopping malls and the city’s international airport, CICB is a complex which encompasses 20.000 m² of leasable area, a restaurant with the capacity of up to 1.000 users simultaneously, a parking area with 2.400 slots, a rooftop with a view of the Paranoá Lake, and a hotel.

With more than 65.000 m² of built area, the modern modular system allows to create spaces of the exact size for holding any type of event.

In previous years, the venue hosted several national multisport events such as the 2021, 2022 and 2024 Brazilian University Games, welcoming not only sport competitions but also the event’s Organizing Committee’s Main Operations Control and restaurant.
