Ju-Jitsu
Ju-Jitsu has emerged under the auspices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), officially being recognised in 2020. This accolade highlights the growth and popularity of the martial art within the university sporting community.
With the first event taking place in Brazil, a country renowned for its vibrant culture and strong traditions in martial arts, the stage is set for a remarkable celebration of Ju-Jitsu. The city of Brasília, known for its modernist architecture and dynamic atmosphere, will serve as a fitting backdrop for this historic occasion, bringing together athletes, officials, and fans from around the world.
SPORT REGULATIONS
The Ju-Jitsu events shall be organised in accordance with the most recent Ju-Jitsu Rules of the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF). In case of dispute in the interpretation of the rules, the English text shall be regarded as authoritative.
The competitions shall last 4 days as indicated in the General Schedule (Section 3 of the FISU Technical Handbook) and the competition programme shall be proposed by the Organising Committee Competition Manager and confirmed by the FISU TCC, including the following events:

- Only student athletes with a minimum graduation of Blue Belt will be allowed to participate.
- The duration of matches will be of 5 minutes.
